Pruning: Pruning involves the selective removal of larger branches, limbs, or stems from trees, shrubs, and plants. It is done to improve overall plant health, promote proper growth, and enhance aesthetics. Pruning targets dead, diseased, or damaged branches, as well
as those that are crossing or rubbing against each other. It also encourages the development of strong branch structures and promotes flowering and fruiting. Pruning cuts are made at specific points, such as just above a bud or lateral branch, to encourage healthy regrowth and minimize damage to the plant. Pruning is typically performed using hand pruners, loppers, pruning saws, or pole pruners, depending on the size and type of plant being pruned. Both trimming and pruning are important components of landscape maintenance and should be done with care and precision to ensure the health and beauty of plants.
